Aloe "Blue Elf"

🌿 Aloe 'Blue Elf' – Compact and Colorful, Perfect for Pots and Gardens

Aloe 'Blue Elf' is a compact, easy-care succulent with blue-gray leaves and a dense, clumping form. Its silvery-bluish foliage and vibrant blooms make it a delightful addition to patios, rock gardens, and decorative pots. Cold hardy down to 28°F, this dwarf aloe adds year-round interest.

🌟 Why Aloe 'Blue Elf' Stands Out:

🌱 Compact & Clumping: Reaching only 18 inches tall and 2 feet wide, 'Blue Elf' is a stemless dwarf aloe that grows in dense clusters, perfect for containers and small garden spaces.

💙 Powder Blue Leaves: Slender, silvery-blue leaves grow upright for an elegant, architectural look. The unique color brings beautiful contrast to rock gardens and xeriscapes.

🌸 Prolific Bloomer: In late winter to early spring, Aloe 'Blue Elf' blooms with intense orange-red flower spikes that attract hummingbirds, adding color to the garden when many plants are still dormant.

Versatile Ornamental Uses:

🌞 Container Gardening: Its compact, clumping habit and low-maintenance nature make 'Blue Elf' a perfect choice for pots and planters.

🏞️ Rock Gardens & Xeriscapes: Drought-tolerant and small-scale, this aloe shines in low-water landscapes and rocky areas.

🐦 Pollinator-Friendly: The vibrant flower stalks attract hummingbirds, adding value to any pollinator-friendly garden.

🚚 Guaranteed Safe Delivery

Your Aloe 'Blue Elf' will arrive in pristine condition, carefully selected, wrapped and packages for easy stress-free planting. Every order includes planting, watering, and care instructions.

Aloe design and application suggestions:

Aloe design and application suggestions:

The Aloe family is vast. Some aloes are small and solitary. Some aloes are small and make colonies. Some aloes can grow tall on a trunk and look tree-like. Some aloes have red leaves when stressed. The “blue elf” aloe has bluish leaves. Aloes bloom from November through March here in North America. The flower stalks vary in color from orange, red and yellow.

There is an aloe for any design idea you may have. The aloe family makes a very interesting low maintenance container plant that tolerates a wide range of lighting conditions. Aloes will be happy on a window sill or in a sunroom, bright room or patio setting. In the landscape, Aloes can deal with part shade or full sun. We recommend covering aloes in areas where the night time temperatures get below freezing although we offer some aloes that are reliably hardy to the mid twenties at night. It is always better to cover frost sensitive plants.

Why purchase our Aloes?

Why purchase our Aloes?

Our Aloes are grown right here in Southern Arizona. The climate here is very close to their native habitats in Southern Africa. Raised outdoors with just the right amount of water and fertilizer, they come to you in their natural form. These plants do not come to you from a greenhouse. They are already hardy to whatever growing conditions you have to offer. Our Aloes present the same appearance as you will find them in their native habitats.

If you want to plant them in a container for a sunroom, patio or window planter, great! If you want to take your new aloes and plant them in the ground, also great! No acclimation needed. Our plants are ready to go!

What you see is what you get!

Many times, I’ve been disappointed when plants that i ordered over the web arrived. Not this time. The blue aloe that I received was at least as good as the posted photo. I will recommend this nursery to friends, and will return to buy again.

Aloe Blue elf

Beautiful plant delivered and wellpackaged. The first plant came frozen and mush. They were awesome and quickly replaced it for me. I would definitely do business with them again. Great customer service. Great, healthy plant. Thank you!

A LOEve my blue elf

This plant is not your typically looking aloe plant. The leaves are thinner and its a plentiful bunch. They are pretty small too. Love my Aloe plant!

blue leave and orange flowers are a stunning combo

The bright orange flowers that bloom on this Aloe are stunning. So bright and were completely unexpected.
